Join Instructure Foundry, a division dedicated to generating new revenue through AI-built products. As a Pod Founder, you act as an internal entrepreneur, identifying valuable problems and proving customer willingness to pay within weeks. You will pair with a technical Builder and leverage a supporting operating team to create and sell your product.
What you'll do
- Identify and validate business problems through direct customer engagement
- Define product specifications and context for development
- Collaborate with a Builder and write code when necessary
- Secure pilot customers and achieve first paying users
- Manage pod profit and loss and make pivot decisions
- Pass stage-gates to continue or fold the project
What you'll need
- Combination of design/engineering sensibility and commercial mindset
- Proven track record of shipping products to customers
- Experience owning a project from start to finish
- Ability to work across product, sales, and support functions
- Comfort with rapid validation over polished planning
- Willingness to accept go/no-go decisions based on evidence
Nice to have
- Prior startup or zero-to-one experience
- History of completing projects successfully
