Pragmatike is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing technology company that builds critical infrastructure for high-volume, real-time business operations. As the Founding AI Lead Engineer, you will establish the technical strategy for production AI systems and lead the engineering organization from the ground up.
This role involves driving 0-to-1 product initiatives, designing full-stack architectures, and partnering directly with customers and product leadership. You will translate ambiguous problems into scalable solutions while mentoring engineers and influencing the product roadmap.
What you'll do
- Lead 0-to-1 product initiatives from discovery through scaling phases
- Partner directly with customers and product leadership teams
- Design and implement full-stack product architectures
- Establish technical foundations for new product lines
- Translate ambiguous product problems into scalable solutions
- Balance development speed with product quality and sustainability
- Mentor engineers working on various product initiatives
- Influence product roadmap and engineering priorities
What you'll need
- At least seven years of software engineering experience
- Strong background in full-stack and product engineering
- Proven track record in 0-to-1 product development
- Excellent product judgment combined with technical depth
- Strong skills in architecture and system design
- Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments
- Fluent English proficiency is required

- Experience in AI product development
- Background in startup or scale-up environments
- Experience working closely with founders or product leadership
- Track record of taking products from prototype to significant scale
