Join an early-stage startup as a Founding Engineer to shape core product domains and multi-channel AI agents. You will work directly with customers, own system architecture, and drive production releases for voice, SMS, and email automation tools.
What you'll do
- Own engineering domains from architecture to daily production releases
- Conduct customer calls and make independent product decisions
- Build and optimize multi-channel AI agents for voice and text
- Implement quality practices like evaluations and guardrails
- Develop interfaces using React and Next.js with Node.js backends
What you'll need
- Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience
- Experience shipping early-stage products or new features
- Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js
- Experience building with LLM APIs or agent SDKs
- Depth in agent state, evaluations, or real-time voice pipelines
- Ability to synthesize feedback without a dedicated product manager
Nice to have
- Python experience with real-time voice pipelines
- Experience with evaluation tools for non-deterministic systems
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Background in low-latency system design
