Clera is reimagining talent acquisition by automating headhunting with AI agents. As the fourth engineering hire, you will work directly with the CTO to ship features daily and own product areas from concept to deployment.
The company has raised $3M in pre-seed funding and serves VC-backed startups. This position offers significant equity and the chance to shape the product direction in a high-traction environment.
What you'll do
- Ship features to production on a daily basis
- Own entire product areas from concept to deployment
- Build fully agentic systems to automate complex workflows
- Collaborate constantly with the founding team in SF
- Iterate on products based on direct customer feedback
What you'll need
- Very strong background in software engineering
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Practical experience coding with AI tools like Cursor
- High agency and resourceful startup mindset
- Willingness to work hard in an intense environment
Nice to have
- Experience working with LLM APIs
- Ability to transition from rapid prototyping to scalable code
