Join Clera as the fourth engineer on the founding team, working directly with the CTO to automate headhunting using AI agents. You will own entire product areas from concept to deployment, impacting how top talent finds jobs at VC-backed startups.
The position is based in a San Francisco hackerhouse, offering zero commute and intense collaboration. This role suits engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments, value high agency, and want to shape a product with paying customers and strong traction.
What you'll do
- Own product areas from initial concept through to final deployment
- Ship features to production on a daily basis
- Build fully agentic systems that automate complex workflows
- Collaborate directly with the CTO and other founding engineers
- Talk to customers and iterate on the product based on feedback
What you'll need
- Very strong software engineering background
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Practical experience coding with AI tools like Cursor
- Experience working with LLM APIs is a plus
- High agency mindset with a focus on creating value
- Willingness to work hard in an intense startup environment
