Join as the fourth engineer at Clera, a startup automating headhunting with AI agents. You will own product areas from concept to deployment, working directly with the CTO in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
The company has raised $3M in pre-seed funding and serves VC-backed startups. This position offers significant equity and the chance to shape the product direction early in the company's growth.
What you'll do
- Ship features to production on a daily basis
- Own entire product areas from concept to deployment
- Build fully agentic systems to automate complex workflows
- Collaborate constantly with the founding team in SF
- Iterate on products based on direct customer feedback
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background in TypeScript and React
- Practical experience coding with AI tools like Cursor
- Experience working with LLM APIs is a plus
- High agency and resourceful startup mindset
- Willingness to work hard in an intense, collaborative setting
- Ability to balance rapid prototyping with scalable code quality
