Join Clera as the fourth engineering hire to help automate headhunting for VC-backed startups. You will work directly with the CTO and founding team in a San Francisco hackerhouse, building agentic systems that connect talent with dream jobs.
This position offers full ownership of features from concept to deployment. You will iterate quickly based on customer feedback while shaping the technical direction of a product with strong early traction.
What you'll do
- Own entire product areas from initial concept through to deployment
- Ship features to production on a daily basis
- Build fully agentic systems to automate complex recruiting workflows
- Collaborate directly with the CTO and other founding engineers
- Talk to customers and iterate on the product based on their feedback
What you'll need
- Very strong software engineering background with TypeScript and React
- Practical experience coding with AI tools such as Cursor
- Experience working with LLM APIs is highly valued
- High agency and resourceful startup mindset
- Willingness to work hard in an intense, collaborative environment
