As a founding member of the Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will bridge the gap between AI technology and real-world business impact. You will partner with strategic customers to design bespoke AI agents that automate complex learning and development workflows.
This role requires defining operational playbooks and technical roadmaps from the ground up. You will turn specific client solutions into reusable capabilities for the broader Docebo platform, shaping the future of AI-first learning.
What you'll do
- Define operational rituals and technical roadmaps for the new FDE team
- Map complex customer workflows to identify opportunities for AI integration
- Design and deploy custom AI agents integrated with customer systems
- Translate bespoke client solutions into scalable platform enhancements
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to production monitoring
- Shape team culture and cross-functional organizational design
What you'll need
- Five or more years of experience building production-grade full-stack software
- Proven experience deploying agentic AI systems or LLM applications
- Strong customer focus with ability to engage enterprise stakeholders
- Comfortable making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information
- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js for frontend and backend
- Experience with distributed systems, AWS, Kubernetes, and LLM providers
- Familiarity with GitLab, Datadog, OpenTofu, and multi-LLM orchestration
