This founding role involves owning the product experience from initial user flows and interaction design through to production frontend implementation. You will collaborate with company leadership, customers, and backend engineers to create polished interfaces for operators using AI agents to complete real-world tasks.
What you'll do
- Translate product ideas into user flows, prototypes, and production interfaces
- Design intuitive experiences that simplify complex workflows for users
- Explore interaction patterns that make AI agents trustworthy and understandable
- Build reusable components and design system patterns for faster development
- Gather customer feedback on prototypes and iterate on designs accordingly
- Partner with backend engineers to implement designed experiences in production
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of product design or design engineering experience
- Exceptional early-career work demonstrating strong product taste is acceptable
- Experience owning user flows and interface decisions beyond just implementation
- Production-level skills in React and TypeScript for independent building
- Portfolio showing products taken from idea to production with balanced priorities
- Ability to explain business logic behind designed operational workflows
- Strong systems thinking and interest in exploring AI agent experiences
