Join Pleo’s Decision Intelligence team to strengthen fraud detection, prevention, and monitoring capabilities. You will work closely with the decisioning layer, translating fraud patterns into effective rules rather than handling traditional case operations.
This position supports the maturity of Pleo’s fraud and AML decisioning, ensuring controls are explainable, proportionate, and resilient. You will collaborate across teams to improve the speed and quality of fraud rule deployment and tuning.
What you'll do
- Support end-to-end fraud rule lifecycle from proposal to deployment
- Analyze fraud patterns, alert trends, and rule performance metrics
- Translate operational insights into structured rule proposals
- Monitor post-deployment rule performance and identify adjustments
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering
- Maintain clear documentation for fraud rules and testing outcomes
- Build repeatable processes to reduce single points of failure
What you'll need
- Experience as a Fraud, Risk, or Decisioning Analyst
- Hands-on experience with decisioning tools or rule engines
- Strong analytical skills for assessing rule performance
- Understanding of card fraud and payment fraud typologies
- Ability to balance fraud prevention with customer impact
- Strong written communication skills for explaining logic
- Comfort working cross-functionally with diverse teams
- Structured mindset with appreciation for governance
- Background in fintech, banking, or regulated services
- Proficiency in SQL or basic data analysis
