Join a small team developing AI agents and custom consumer devices that capture user intent. The founder previously built a unicorn company in Silicon Valley, and the team operates out of Shenzhen and New York.
You will lead the physical design of consumer hardware, primarily a smart ring. The role requires balancing aesthetics with structural integrity and manufacturability while delivering production-ready assets.
What you'll do
- Design physical form and details for consumer hardware
- Focus primarily on the design of a smart ring
- Collaborate with engineers on aesthetics and structure
- Ensure designs meet manufacturability requirements
- Iterate quickly to deliver production-ready outputs
- Create CAD models, renders, and CMF specifications
- Support communication with factories when needed
What you'll need
- Background in industrial design or related field
- Experience designing consumer electronics
- Experience with small hardware products
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and move quickly
