You will design and implement core web experiences for ActAI, focusing on products like Chat, Docs, and Sheets. Working closely with product, design, and AI engineers, you will integrate proactive AI capabilities into seamless user workflows.
The position requires owning frontend architecture and performance while delivering highly interactive features such as real-time messaging and collaborative editing. You will translate prototypes into production-ready code with a focus on reliability and accessibility.
What you'll do
- Build major web experiences across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets
- Develop complex interactions like real-time messaging and collaborative editing
- Create reusable frontend architecture and components for consistent use
- Integrate streaming AI responses and model-driven experiences into workflows
- Ensure frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability, and accessibility
- Collaborate with product and design to move ideas from prototype to production
What you'll need
- Strong experience building production web apps with React and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and browser APIs
- Experience building interactive products like chat, calendars, or document editors
- Familiarity with real-time systems, WebSockets, or streaming APIs
- Strong product and UI judgment with attention to interaction details
- Ability to independently own features from technical design to production
