You will ensure the reliability of Tempo’s BI Connectors, a mature product exporting Jira data to platforms like Power BI and Tableau. Your work involves deep-dive investigations, modernizing dependencies, and shipping high-impact fixes to support enterprise users.
This position requires strong ownership and analytical skills to solve complex integration problems. You will collaborate with support and QA teams to maintain rock-solid stability for a massive active user base.
What you'll do
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues to find root causes and ship fixes
- Maintain codebase compatibility across Jira Data Center versions and databases
- Upgrade dependencies and address security vulnerabilities regularly
- Support customers migrating from Data Center to Cloud environments
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to prevent regressions
- Participate in peer code reviews and uphold coding standards
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of relevant full-stack work experience
- Solid back-end experience with Java and Spring ecosystem
- Strong command of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Practical experience maintaining production UIs with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with state management tools like Redux or MobX
- Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and automated testing
- Analytical mindset with passion for debugging complex issues
- Good communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience developing or maintaining Atlassian Data Center apps
- Experience supporting customer-facing products directly
- Familiarity with BI analytics tooling or OData protocol
- Experience with performance profiling on large datasets
- Awareness of secure coding practices and dependency CVEs
- Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud migration paths
