RevenueBase provides verified B2B data to make AI agents trustworthy and effective. As the platform scales, the engineering team needs experienced developers to strengthen backend systems, ensuring high performance and reliability for customers like Clay and Dun & Bradstreet.
You will own services end-to-end, from architectural design to deployment and monitoring. The work focuses on maintaining fast, scalable cloud infrastructure that handles increasing data volumes and supports autonomous AI workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Develop high-performance RESTful APIs for AI agents and GTM workflows
- Architect cloud-native infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking
- Build reliable data pipelines to process and validate large B2B datasets
- Ensure system scalability, observability, and fault tolerance in production
- Own backend features from design and implementation to deployment
- Collaborate with frontend and data engineers on API contracts and data flow
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of professional backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL like DynamoDB
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Docker
- Understanding of distributed systems including caching and queues
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
