Anyone AI seeks software engineers with Japanese proficiency to support a leading AI Lab. In this project-based consultant role, you will design complex coding tasks and review peer submissions for quality and accuracy.
You will create realistic scenarios involving bug resolution, feature implementation, and refactoring. The position offers full schedule control and allows simultaneous work with other vendors.
What you'll do
- Design multi-file coding tasks for bug fixing and features
- Write natural-language specifications and reference code
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites
- Review peer-generated tasks for correctness and clarity
- Identify edge cases and potential failure modes
- Ensure alignment between specs, code, and outputs
What you'll need
- Advanced professional written English proficiency
- Fluency in Japanese
- 3-7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- Experience with production backend or full-stack systems
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest or Jest
- Ability to debug large, multi-file codebases
