Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, to help build their AI Neobank application. You will work as a product-minded engineer, turning ambiguous problems into working systems that handle onboarding, payments, and other financial workflows.
The team values speed and ownership, requiring you to move across frontend, backend, and internal tools. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI engineers to launch features quickly and improve them post-release.
What you'll do
- Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
- Create workflows for onboarding, payments, rewards, travel, FX, and KYC
- Transform ambiguous product problems into systems with clean UX and reliable logic
- Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and AI teams to launch and iterate
- Develop internal tools and automation to reduce manual work and scale operations
- Monitor, debug, and improve systems after release
What you'll need
- Strong full stack engineering experience with shipped products
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and debugging
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern frontend stacks
- Solid backend fundamentals including APIs, data models, and authentication
- Strong product sense with the ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and own outcomes end-to-end
- Must be currently based in Australia
