You will design and scale core product capabilities across backend services and frontend interfaces for Asteri's AI-native enterprise platform. This hands-on role offers meaningful ownership over production systems that coordinate tasks between humans and AI agents, focusing on reliability and usability.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver scalable full-stack systems including APIs and web apps
- Build backend services with strong observability, reliability, and performance
- Develop frontend experiences for workflow visibility and operational insights
- Implement orchestration logic coordinating human and AI system tasks
- Integrate internal and external systems to support end-to-end workflows
- Ensure production readiness via testing, CI/CD, and monitoring practices
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improve system scalability
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience building and operating production web applications
- Experience developing secure enterprise applications, preferably in regulated industries
- Strong backend skills in Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node.js with TypeScript
- Solid experience building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
- Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases like Postgres
- Strong engineering fundamentals including testing, code reviews, and debugging
- Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-enabled products or ML-powered systems
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration or event-driven architectures
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform
- Exposure to enterprise requirements like SSO, RBAC, or audit logging
- Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments
- Interest in building developer tools or productivity platforms
