What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js
- Manage APIs, business logic, and data flows with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Implement frontend features to ensure complete product experiences
- Build and maintain web scraping and data ingestion pipelines
- Ensure all data handling complies with legal and ethical standards
- Use AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Copilot daily
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define scalable solutions
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience in Full-Stack or Backend Engineering
- Strong backend expertise with Python and/or Node.js
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
- Comfortable working with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks
- Experience or strong interest in web scraping and large-scale data systems
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
- Must be currently based in Latin America
- Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
Nice to have
- Experience with OCR, computer vision, or document processing
- Background in automation-heavy or data-centric products
- Previous experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
