You will be the first dedicated software engineer for the CFS Platform, transforming internal workflows from scattered tools into a cohesive product. Working directly with the founder, you will shape the codebase and ship features used immediately by the funding team and clients.
The platform combines workflow management, a secure client portal, and AI-assisted analysis for climate grant funding. This role suits a self-directed builder who wants to create a serious product without the bureaucracy of a large corporation.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across frontend and backend
- Enhance internal workflow tools and client-facing portal
- Develop AI-assisted features for document analysis and drafting
- Fix bugs and improve system reliability as usage scales
- Collaborate with the founder to turn ideas into shipped code
- Support automation for operational and business functions
What you'll need
- Daily proficiency with AI coding tools like Cursor or Copilot
- Solid experience building and shipping production web apps
- Strong skills in TypeScript and React across the stack
- Ability to take features from idea to implementation independently
- Balance code quality with speed of delivery
- Self-motivated and thrives in fast-paced startup cultures
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase or Postgres
- Background in shipping AI-assisted product features
- Experience with document-heavy workflows or B2B SaaS
- Genuine curiosity about climate or industrial technology
