Join Fuse Finance as a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help redefine lending through intelligent automation. You will design and ship features across the platform, from underwriting engines to customer dashboards, while leveraging AI tools to enhance development speed and reliability. The team works closely with business logic and customers to transform lending operations for banks and credit unions.
What you'll do
- Implement end-to-end full stack features including APIs, services, and dashboards
- Model client lending domains such as loan types, rules, and task flows
- Build automations integrating with credit bureaus, KYC providers, and banking rails
- Ship AI-powered features like LLM-based automations and agentic workflows
- Own features from scoping and testing to deployment and monitoring
- Write clean, well-tested code adhering to quality and security standards
What you'll need
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally full-stack
- Proficiency in backend stacks like Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Solid frontend skills with React, TypeScript, and modern state management
- Comfort with relational databases like PostgreSQL and data modeling
- Experience deploying cloud services on AWS or GCP with CI/CD knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English for asynchronous collaboration
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, structured outputs, and AI guardrails
- Experience with RAG, agentic workflows, or vector search technologies
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Copilot
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, lending, payments, or regulated financial domains
- Familiarity with rule engines, workflow engines, or BPM-style systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures and third-party financial APIs
- Exposure to evaluation frameworks for LLM applications
