Join the Global Investigations Team at TRM Labs to disrupt financial crime using AI-powered intelligence. You will conduct time-sensitive blockchain analysis for public and private sector partners, tracing illicit funds and building cases against threat networks.
The team comprises experienced investigators who work independently yet collaborate closely across global time zones. This role suits professionals with a strong background in crypto investigations and law enforcement who can lead with intention while executing complex inquiries.
What you'll do
- Investigate complex cases involving hacks, ransomware, and money laundering
- Produce written reports and deliver briefings to customers and partners
- Conduct long-term research on blockchain crime categories
- Identify and manage relationships with industry partners for attribution
- React quickly to fund movements during ongoing investigations
- Support cross-functional teams on unforeseen time-sensitive issues
What you'll need
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory
- 3-5 years of experience as an investigator or analyst
- Experience briefing senior leaders within an organization
- Ability to structure problems and prioritize critical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for all audiences
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Willingness to participate in weekly on-call rotations
Nice to have
- Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis
- Background in law enforcement or private sector investigations
