Join Vultr's engineering team to support the deployment and maintenance of GPU clusters powering next-generation AI applications. You will handle node bring-up, driver configuration, and system automation while collaborating across teams to ensure cluster health and performance.
What you'll do
- Execute GPU node and cluster bring-up for new hardware platforms
- Validate node functionality via automated and manual testing
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across GPU and OS layers
- Contribute to automation efforts using Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Support onboarding and offboarding of systems within GPU clusters
- Install, configure, and maintain GPU drivers, firmware, and system software
- Monitor cluster health and respond to hardware alerts and failures
- Document processes, findings, and improvements for internal teams
What you'll need
- 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems and server hardware
- Familiarity with NVIDIA or AMD GPUs in production or lab environments
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Exposure to automation tools like Ansible
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams
- Familiarity with GPU drivers and system software like CUDA or ROCm

How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- $500 stipend for remote office setup in first year
- $400 annual stipend for following years
