Join the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team at Forward Financing, a fintech company dedicated to unlocking capital for small businesses. You will focus on third-party risk management, policy maintenance, and supporting annual SOC2 audits while leveraging AI to enhance process efficiency.
What you'll do
- Conduct initial due diligence and ongoing monitoring of vendors
- Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
- Identify, evaluate, and track organizational risks
- Gather evidence and coordinate stakeholders for SOC2 audits
- Use AI and ML tools to automate routine compliance tasks
- Perform internal audits of systems and processes
- Promote a culture of security awareness through collaboration
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1-2+ years in GRC, risk, or compliance roles
- Experience with third-party vendor risk assessments
- Familiarity with creating security policies and standards
- Understanding of risk assessment methodologies
- Experience supporting compliance audits like SOC2
- Strong organizational and written English skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguous problems independently
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI use cases in business settings
- Understanding of AWS or other cloud structures
