As the first GTM Engineer at Pogo, you will partner with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to build AI-powered systems that compound revenue. You will work on the enterprise AI SaaS product as both a builder and an operator, shipping code that directly drives pipeline and conversion.
You will audit the existing GTM stack, identify gaps, and build internal tools and agents to replace manual workflows. This role requires turning messy operational problems into clean, automated systems while publishing playbooks to propagate wins across the organization.
What you'll do
- Ship AI-powered workflows to scale growth and sales motions
- Audit GTM stack to identify gaps and redundancies
- Embed with sales and growth teams to systematize best practices
- Build internal tools for lead routing, enrichment, and attribution
- Decide when to use off-the-shelf tools versus custom builds
- Partner with engineering and design to test new features
- Publish playbooks and internal guides for team alignment
What you'll need
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience applied to GTM, growth, or revenue systems
- Heavy user of AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents
- Fluency with modern GTM stack APIs, webhooks, and integrations
- Strong product and design taste for internal tools
- Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience maintaining production systems used by real users
Nice to have
- Experience at early-stage startups or building own products
- Shipped AI agents that impacted actual revenue metrics
- Background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering
