Supabase is establishing a central team to build and run an AI-native internal operating system where agents handle operational loads end-to-end. As the Head of AI Native Operations, you will design the architecture, build critical components, and ensure every agent is correct, safe, and improving. You will lead senior individual contributors in extending this platform and driving its adoption across various teams.
What you'll do
- Own agent platform architecture including orchestration, connectors, and memory
- Ensure model and prompt changes pass evaluations before shipping
- Implement tracing for every agent run to track decisions and costs
- Design safety controls like least-privilege credentials and sandboxing
- Identify and replace human workflows with fully autonomous agents
- Package successful solutions into reusable components for other teams
- Hire, mentor, and review work of senior individual contributors
- Track metrics such as automated workflows and cost per run
What you'll need
- Built autonomous agent or LLM systems that ran in production
- Deep understanding of orchestration, context, tracing, and evals
- Experience shipping agents with real permissions and safety controls
- Proven ability to argue where automation creates business leverage
- Led senior builders and set quality bars through code review
- Comfortable reading and writing Python or TypeScript
- Native usage of Git, Markdown, and pull requests

- Replaced human-run business workflows end-to-end with autonomous systems
- Taken an internal platform from zero to adoption by external teams
- Background in software engineering
