Lead the strategy and execution for taking complex computer vision projects from concept to production. You will manage Implementation and Forward Deployed Engineering teams, ensuring scalable processes while remaining hands-on with critical technical deployments.
This position requires balancing organizational growth with direct involvement in customer architecture and problem-solving. You will define success metrics, build repeatable frameworks, and collaborate closely with Sales and Product teams to improve time-to-value.
What you'll do
- Lead and scale Implementation and Forward Deployed Engineering teams
- Participate directly in complex customer deployments and architecture discussions
- Create repeatable frameworks for scoping, implementation, and handoff
- Partner with Sales to ensure successful deployment planning before contracts
- Define and measure implementation success and deployment health metrics
- Hire and coach technical talent with strong customer instincts
- Feed customer insights back into Product and Engineering roadmaps
- Collaborate with GTM teams for seamless customer experience
What you'll need
- Experience leading customer-facing technical delivery or professional services
- Deep technical ability to work alongside engineers on complex problems
- Hands-on leadership style with active participation in work
- Proven track record moving proofs of concept to production systems
- Ability to balance custom needs with scalable product development
- Strong people leadership skills for hiring and retaining technical talent
- Comfort communicating with both engineers and executive stakeholders
- Strong judgment in prioritization and resource allocation
Nice to have
- Built Delivery or Forward Deployed Engineering functions from early stages
- Background in developer tools, AI/ML, robotics, or computer vision
- Experience with deployments involving software and physical hardware
- Worked with enterprise customers on multi-stakeholder projects
- Improved time-to-value through scalable service systems
- Owned entire customer success processes previously
