You will bridge product vision and execution, ensuring scalable processes and a resilient engineering culture. This leadership position requires overseeing infrastructure, ML deployment, and cross-functional collaboration to redefine physical commerce.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across computer vision, backend, frontend, hardware, and firmware
- Define and execute the engineering roadmap balancing innovation and scale
- Architect real-time AI-driven spatial computing applications
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product teams
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability
- Own technical decisions from infrastructure to ML model deployment
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- 15+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of senior management experience overseeing multiple functions
- Expertise in computer vision, AI/ML, sensor fusion, or robotics
- Experience in full-stack development and scalable cloud architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Nice to have
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or Computer Vision
- Experience with AR/MR technologies
- Background in retail technology
