Deeter Analytics is a privately held investment firm managing capital across public markets, alternatives, and private investments. We operate with a small, senior team in an entrepreneurial culture that values technical rigor and independent judgment.
As Head of Research, you will function as the Principal’s closest intellectual partner. Your mandate is to transform complex information into clear, profitable action by identifying emerging structural shifts before consensus forms.
What you'll do
- Architect and oversee a high-performance team of analysts and news monitors
- Design information pipelines for real-time, high-signal intelligence
- Identify and validate opportunities across public and private markets
- Partner with the Principal to develop forward-looking worldviews
- Translate macro and thematic views into actionable investment strategies
- Refine frameworks for opportunity identification and risk assessment
What you'll need
- Ability to navigate diverse information environments including geopolitics and tech
- Skill in distinguishing material insight from background noise
- Capacity to identify emerging structural shifts before they become obvious
- Strong analytical rigor to deconstruct incentives and hidden dependencies
- Proactive mindset with ability to reason independently from first principles
- Experience making high-quality decisions with incomplete information
- Ownership mentality with focus on personal responsibility for outcomes
