You will ensure seamless data flow between Laurel’s AI platform and client systems like SAP S/4HANA and various Practice Management Systems. Acting as a technical escalation point, you will resolve integration failures, monitor DevOps alerts, and guide clients through critical system transitions.
The work combines backend troubleshooting with direct client communication. You will diagnose root causes of data discrepancies, customize Boomi processes, and maintain system stability to protect client billing operations.
What you'll do
- Build and customize Boomi processes for client system integrations
- Monitor integration health and respond to critical alerts within one hour
- Troubleshoot data flow issues across Laurel, ERPs, and PMS platforms
- Support clients during high-pressure system migrations and go-lives
- Serve as Level 2 escalation for technical sync and connectivity issues
- Communicate technical resolutions clearly to non-technical client contacts
- Document issue patterns and create knowledge base articles for support teams
What you'll need
- 3-5 years in integration engineering, DevOps, or technical support
- Strong ability to trace data flow and identify breakpoints in complex systems
- Experience with iPaaS tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Zapier
- Proficiency with REST APIs, SQL queries, and database concepts
- Familiarity with alerting systems, log analysis, and proactive monitoring
- Ability to remain calm and methodical during time-sensitive billing incidents
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with legal tech or time and billing systems like Aderant or Elite 3E
- Knowledge of authentication protocols including SSO, SAML, and OAuth
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations for Exchange and Teams
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Javascript for automation
- Background supporting SaaS applications in enterprise environments
- Understanding of data validation and reconciliation processes
