JTEC Consulting seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to architect and maintain resilient systems powering high-volume data alerting capabilities. You will orchestrate containerized workloads and ensure seamless deployment of critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
The position requires deep expertise in cloud operations, automation, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and drive operational efficiency through modern DevOps methodologies.
What you'll do
- Architect highly available systems using Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing EKS, EC2, and S3 services
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform for automated provisioning
- Design robust routing and DNS solutions for distributed system performance
- Optimize RabbitMQ and Kafka platforms for large-scale data streaming
- Monitor system health via Grafana and manage logging and alerting frameworks
- Collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Troubleshoot complex issues and enforce cloud security best practices
What you'll need
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this position
- Current TS/SCI clearance with agency-specific polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Mid-level: 5+ years in infrastructure or DevOps with AWS and Kubernetes focus
- Senior-level: 8+ years in infrastructure engineering and architectural design
- Proven experience running scalable applications on Kubernetes in production
- Track record of handling high-volume data alerts and complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration
