Aptura studies how AI impacts professional work in finance and advisory sectors. Founded by experts from Lazard, McKinsey, and Partners Group, the company aims to identify where AI assists or fails in real-world workflows.
As an AI Research Contributor, you will leverage your background in building pitch books and deal decks. You will design tasks that challenge AI to perform junior banker duties, ensuring high-quality, human-verified benchmarks for evaluation.
What you'll do
- Create realistic PowerPoint tasks based on actual deal work experiences
- Design exercises involving deck creation, template filling, and precise edits
- Complete each task personally to establish a correct reference answer
- Develop precise yes-or-no checklists for automated AI grading
- Ensure all materials are original and free of confidential client data
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years in M&A, ECM, DCM, or leveraged finance
- Experience at a bank or advisory boutique is required
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint charts, tables, and templates
- Ability to define precise criteria for correct deck outputs
- Strong writing skills with no reliance on AI for drafting
- Attention to detail and interest in AI and data concepts
