Join Augmodo as they build an operating system for physical shelves using spatial computing and wearable AI. This hands-on role requires owning the company's compliance, security, privacy, and IT programs to ensure data accuracy and speed.
You will partner closely with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to scale security measures and manage IT assets. The position focuses on maintaining rigorous standards like SOC 2 and preparing for ISO 27001 certification in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain SOC 2 compliance including audits and remediation
- Lead ISO 27001 certification readiness and risk assessments
- Manage GDPR, privacy, and EU AI Act documentation and processes
- Control system access including provisioning and offboarding
- Handle IT equipment lifecycle from inventory to security
- Collaborate on cloud infrastructure security and incident response
- Conduct security assessments for vendors and third parties
- Maintain and operationalize security and IT policies
- Provide internal IT helpdesk support and troubleshooting
What you'll need
- 4+ years in compliance, security, IT, or privacy fields
- Hands-on experience with SOC 2 and preferably ISO 27001
- Knowledge of GDPR, privacy laws, and EU AI Act
- Understanding of access management and endpoint security
- Ability to work directly with Engineering and Infrastructure
- Strong organizational and documentation capabilities
- Comfort building processes in a fast-paced startup

- Experience with Vanta
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure
- Experience with MDM tools
