We are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to operate and maintain our on-premises data center infrastructure. You will handle server administration, network support, and hardware lifecycle management while ensuring high availability for critical engineering operations.
The role requires hands-on expertise in Windows and Linux systems, VMware virtualization, and enterprise networking. You will act as the primary technical responder for infrastructure incidents and support product development teams with their workstation and build environment needs.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers and VMware environments
- Perform routine health checks, patching, security hardening, and capacity reviews
- Act as primary on-site responder for data center power and network emergencies
