Join the Application Security team at 1Password to help secure the software development lifecycle. You will build and maintain automated security tools, such as code scanning and dynamic analysis systems, while integrating emerging agentic AI capabilities to enhance detection and remediation efforts.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain security tooling for static and dynamic analysis
- Integrate agentic AI capabilities into secure product development workflows
- Enhance existing code scanning and security automation tools
- Develop dashboards and metrics for security risk reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security parameters for new features
What you'll need
- 0-2+ years of experience in software development
- Strong foundational understanding of software development principles
- Experience leveraging agentic AI to accelerate security workflows
- Background in internal tool development and engineering enablement
- Ability to read and write code comfortably
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust or Golang
- Knowledge of security code reviews and threat modelling
- Practical experience with OWASP Top 10 web application security topics
- Ability to quickly learn new programming languages
