You will own the backend and Agent systems behind Trust Wallet's LLM products. Responsibilities include building multi-turn conversation systems, defining quality metrics, and ensuring reliability in production. The role requires shipping features to real users and proving impact through data.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain multi-turn conversation systems with context management
- Implement tool calling, knowledge retrieval (RAG), and state management
- Define success criteria with Product, Design, and QA leads
- Convert production failures into evaluation samples and regression tests
- Diagnose root causes of failures across model, knowledge, and backend
- Handle timeouts, retries, graceful degradation, and async jobs
- Ensure issues are traceable via logs and changes are versioned
- Provide reasoned positions on feasibility, cost, risk, and alternatives
What you'll need
- Production LLM/Agent experience at scale (10,000+ active users)
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and production code ownership
- Experience designing backend services in Golang
- Integration experience with LLMs and AI systems
- Built evaluation sets, regression suites, and production monitoring
- Ability to confirm improvements are real rather than random fluctuation
- Ownership mindset with early risk surfacing and production verification
- Preferably 1 year of experience in crypto, DeFi, or Web3 companies
