Join Cohere’s Analytics and Data Insights team to shape go-to-market strategy for frontier AI models. You will own the analytical lifecycle, from framing complex business questions to deploying models that drive product and strategic decisions.
This leadership position requires managing a team of data scientists and analysts while partnering with product, research, sales, and finance departments. You will design experimentation programs and ensure insights are actionable for enterprise customers.
What you'll do
- Design and lead experimentation programs including A/B tests and causal inference studies
- Develop predictive models for forecasting, segmentation, and opportunity sizing
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists
- Define analytical priorities and allocate resources across initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define growth strategies
- Translate ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical problems
What you'll need
- Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git
- Deep expertise in statistical inference and experimental design
- Proven experience leading analytics or data science teams
- Ability to distill complex insights into actionable narratives
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing multi-workstream roadmaps
- Genuine interest in AI research and foundational models
Nice to have
- Familiarity with BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or Airflow
- Experience with modern data stack tools
