As a Staff level engineer, you will make major code design decisions and contribute to global engineering standards. You will balance technical excellence with mentorship, coaching peers through complex challenges.
What you'll do
- Refactor monolithic components into distributed, scalable architectures
- Make major code design decisions and set technical direction
- Mentor engineers and coach them through technical challenges
- Enhance developer experience via CI/CD tooling and TDD practices
- Contribute to global engineering standards and solution designs
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
What you'll need
- Proven experience with large-scale distributed or high-availability systems
- Ability to lead major code design and technical solutioning
- Strong background in designing high-quality software across languages
- Experience with automated testing, refactoring, and agile delivery
- Passion for sharing technical knowledge and mentoring peers
- Ability to ramp quickly across adjacent technologies

How you'll work
