You will take technical ownership of complex products, designing scalable systems across backend, frontend, and infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role requires balancing architecture decisions with active coding, code reviews, and mentoring engineers to raise the team's engineering bar.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution of major products and features
- Design scalable and reliable systems across full stack and infrastructure
- Stay hands-on through coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capability across the team
- Review technical designs and provide actionable feedback
- Monitor production systems and resolve root causes of incidents
- Improve engineering tooling and automation to increase velocity
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects or teams
- Strong system design skills for complex or high-scale systems
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and code reviews
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
- Strong product sense connecting tech decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership
