You will lead the technical design and execution of major engineering initiatives, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. This position requires solving complex problems, reviewing code, and guiding other engineers to raise the overall engineering bar.
The team works globally across multiple time zones, collaborating closely with product, design, and AI groups to ship high-quality features. You will own systems from release through production monitoring, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and features
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and database systems
- Remain hands-on with coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and provide actionable code review feedback
- Monitor production systems and resolve incident root causes
- Improve engineering tooling and automation practices
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
- Willingness to stay involved in code reviews and debugging
