Join Doit as a Lead Engineer to shape the architecture and execution of complex products in the fintech space. You will balance high-level technical decisions with hands-on coding, ensuring scalable and reliable systems while guiding other engineers.
This position requires strong communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a distributed, international environment. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver high-quality solutions quickly.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and features
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and database systems
- Write code, prototype, review peers, and debug production issues
- Mentor engineers and raise overall team technical capability
- Identify architectural risks and bottlenecks early
- Improve engineering tooling and automation for velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incident root causes
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and reviews
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Strong product sense linking tech to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and fast pace
