Working across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, you will collaborate with product and AI teams to ship scalable, reliable systems. The position demands strong judgment in technical trade-offs and a commitment to production reliability and code quality.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major engineering initiatives
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor engineers and provide actionable feedback on code and designs
- Identify technical risks and architectural weaknesses early
- Improve engineering tooling, practices, and automation
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to ensure reliability
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects or teams
- Strong system design skills for complex or high-scale environments
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and code reviews
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
- Strong product sense linking technical choices to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership
