As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of major initiatives, designing scalable systems while remaining hands-on with code. You will guide other engineers, resolve production issues, and collaborate with product and AI teams to ship high-quality solutions globally.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and features
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and database systems
- Write code, review peers, and debug production issues directly
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and raise overall team technical capability
- Identify architectural risks and bottlenecks proactively
- Improve engineering tooling and automation for velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incident root causes
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and reviews
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Strong product sense linking tech to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership
- Fluent English communication skills for global collaboration
