You will shape the technical foundation for global money movement capabilities, designing reliable and secure services for the Payments Platform. This early-stage initiative allows you to make foundational architectural decisions while contributing directly to production code and solving complex financial technology challenges.
What you'll do
- Design and build payment platform capabilities like orchestration and fraud risk
- Develop a global bill payment product for small business cash flow management
- Build core high-throughput platform services
- Integrate AI capabilities to accelerate engineering productivity
- Mentor engineers and set technical direction
- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate business needs into solutions
What you'll need
- Proven track record delivering highly available distributed backend systems
- Deep understanding of system architecture and API design
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with C#, Java, Golang, or C++
- Strong leadership skills and ability to foster inclusive culture
- Ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions

How you'll work
