As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of complex products, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. You will guide the engineering team, solve difficult problems, and drive initiatives from concept to production in a distributed environment.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and engineering initiatives
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, debugging, and code reviews
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capability across the team
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to ensure reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship high-quality features
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience providing technical leadership and guiding other engineers
- Strong system design skills for complex or high-scale architectures
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and debugging
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
