Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of complex products, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. You will guide the engineering team, improve development practices, and ensure system reliability across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and initiatives
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on with coding, prototyping, and debugging production issues
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar for code quality and system design
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to ship high-quality features quickly
- Monitor production systems and resolve root causes of incidents
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production software systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience providing technical leadership on major engineering projects
- Ability to make architectural decisions for complex, high-scale systems
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and owning problems end-to-end
