You will take technical ownership of complex products, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. The role requires designing scalable systems, reviewing code, and guiding engineers from idea to production while maintaining high quality standards.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution of major engineering initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and strengthen team technical capability
- Monitor production systems and resolve incident root causes
- Improve engineering tooling and development automation
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Strong system design skills for high-scale environments
- Willingness to remain hands-on with code and reviews
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to teams
- Strong product sense linking tech to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and fast pace
