As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of major initiatives, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. You will guide the team in designing scalable systems while maintaining high code quality and production reliability.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution of major product features
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Write code, prototype solutions, and perform code reviews
- Mentor engineers and strengthen team technical capabilities
- Monitor production systems and resolve incident root causes
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to ship high-quality software
- Improve engineering tooling and development automation
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and debugging
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Strong product sense linking tech to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and fast-paced changes
