Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Lead Engineer, you will balance architecture and implementation, guiding the team while staying close to the code to solve difficult engineering problems.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution of major engineering initiatives
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on with coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
- Monitor production systems and resolve root causes of incidents
- Improve engineering tooling and automation to increase velocity
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
- Willingness to remain hands-on with code reviews and debugging
