As a Lead Engineer, you will balance architecture decisions with hands-on implementation. You will guide engineering initiatives from concept to production while raising the technical bar across the distributed team.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and features
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Remain hands-on with coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and review code to improve quality
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to ship quickly
- Improve engineering tooling and automation practices
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Strong system design skills for high-scale environments
- Willingness to stay hands-on with code and reviews
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly
- Strong product sense linking tech to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership
