As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of complex systems, guiding the team from idea to production. This hands-on leadership position requires designing scalable infrastructure while remaining active in code reviews and problem-solving.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution of major engineering initiatives
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, APIs and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on with coding, prototyping and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed and reliability
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
- Review code and provide actionable feedback to peers
- Monitor production systems and resolve root causes of incidents
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to ship high-quality features
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems or cloud
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects
- Strong system design skills for high-scale applications
- Willingness to remain hands-on with code and reviews
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
